I'd prefer the Mercedes as the Mclaren Honda really has been going through a steep learning curve...

Well, that's a surprise. Seeing the current "F1 Modeling" magazine issue, I was wondering if the Honda return would be enough reason to Tamiya launch a new kit, but seems that Ebbro decided to grow even more in the F1 kit market, probably in total agreement with Tamiya. Let's see how much of the Honda engine will be reproduced in the kit.

The good news is that Mclaren made the painting of the kit a lot easier since last weekend... and there's so few decals that it's almost as build a 60's F1 car...

I guess someone in Ebbro got so excited about new McLaren-Honda partnership, they started design kit
before results from first races rolled in. Great news anyway. I will get one for sure. I like kits of modern
car. Easy to build - no engine detail, no intricate suspension, etc. And I want to support any effort from
plastic kit makers, because that is what helps future releases, imho. Hopefully MP4/30 will be back closer
to the front by the end of season or so.

Not a big fan of modern F1 cars but I go for one for sure, always support the 1/20 scale plastic kits makers.

Very interesting. Funny how they used 3D printing to get a rough prototype up. I don't share the optimism of some about their impending uptick in performance, but the kit will be nice to see built up here, regardless of how the season plays out.

Very disappointed, always hopes that ebrro will continue with their retrospection of a Grand Prix racers.
