Getting a Magnetic Polisher in Europe.
After seeking for a while for a Magnetic Polisher I finally found one in Europe.
Here is where you can get it. http://www.webshopbuysschaert.be/
Go for "POLIJSTEN" and choose" PO-TOESTELLEN".
http://www.webshopbuysschaert.be/websho ... toestellen
You have to make a account to see the price.
The language is only Dutch and French, so for the English speaking use a translator.
Don,t know if the price is high but you get polishing needles and cleaning fluid.
The bowl diameter is 140mm not 125mm as advertised.

Re: Getting a Magnetic Polisher in Europe.
The price of the 1liter version is €145,20, but that's only the magnetic tumbler, without all the extras like fluid etc.
Cheers, Martijn

Don,t know what size your bowl is,but you had a good price.
Hope that you didn't had to pay custom fee's.
The reason I wanted an European dealer was that if something is wrong with it, I can contact them.
They delivered very fast, ordered on Monday, got the goods Thursday.
Ordering from China is always a gamble, do I have to pay custom fees or not .
And if you look further on there website, they have many goodies I can use for my modelling.

Re: Getting a Magnetic Polisher in Europe.
I just measured my bowl and they got a diameter of 145mm and a height of 100mm.
My order from china took me only 4 days. That was faster than when i order something in my neighbor land austria.
And i got luck and didnt had to pay the custom fee.I was prepared to pay it,but i dont had to.
But even when i have to pay them, the price would be only 255€ including fee's.
But with an european dealer you got the same problem like i had....when its something wrong with the tumbler someday.
The tumbler is made in china and the shop you bought it dont repair it,i think. So they must be sent back to china for repairs.
The same to me.
I dont think that its better when you buy it from a european dealer in case of a malfunction.
Thats my thoughts when i order it from china.

Re: Getting a Magnetic Polisher in Europe.
Might be a silly question but what do you use these for in relation to car models?

Re: Getting a Magnetic Polisher in Europe.
Cleaning and polishing white metal parts.Especially for the MFH mm kits.
I didnt use mine so far,but when you look at the wip threads of the 1/12 builds, more than half the user got an magnetic polisher.
