As everyone says, a fantastic job! What a beauty! If there's anything wrong with this kit, I can't see it.

Re: MFH Brabham BT46B Fan Car
This build is fabulous Rich even better seeing in real life at Brampton show!
Thanks for letting me take the pics with bodywork on and off.
I think you deserve a gold medal every part of this model is a work of art!
Am also in mourning that you feel you are maybe reluctant to build another 1/12 MFH!
Can't wait to see it on our display again at Telford in Nov ,the best 1/12 model of the year I have seen Andy Mathews and Gerald Wingrove move over!
Pure F1 art!

Well, despite the issues encountered, it does look impressive. I do hope my Lancia 037 goes together without too many problems.
I look forward to seeing it a Telford...
My build total is around 50.....369...crikey...!!

That thing is bloody gorgeous. If you ever grow tired of it I will provide a great home for it. I will sit it next to my (to be built) BT46 Italian GP version, which will unfortunately not be built as well as yours.
What color / paint brand / method did you end up choosing? It's very fine looking stuff.
Top job!

Thanks Guys...for all your kind comments.
Especially Allnie and Jordan because you two are building this, so you know how bad it is !
To answer AJP01...I used ROVER FLAME RED on good advice and lacquered with Mr.Super Clear decanted and through the airbrush. I did look at Italian Red but it's a bit too red..i.e. not fiery enough.
I'm sure John, my info source, won't mind me repeating the slightly amusing story...he was at a test session at Brands Hatch in 1978 as John Watson was circulating in the BT46. Later, he found a mechanic in the pits touching up the front wing with a spray can and said to him "what colour is that ?" The mechanic replied "It's red mate !". "Yeh, but ?" Looking down at his can, the mechanic read off "Rover Flame Red"
I presumed that this was a good source !
Regards
Richard
