Pin marks!
Why can't they be eliminated?

Re: Building your models, the most hated step.
The part that pisses me off no end (and just happened....could you tell?), is pulling my masking tape off and having that candy shell-like Tamiya primer chip off and leave a nice sized divot that I get to start the entire process all over again for. The obscenities come in a tidal wave of anger. The 20 year old me would probably have sent the chip and the rest of the car through the wall......

Good evening i hate cokpit visor and it is essential for good look on the model in secnd, suspension arms. not very interressant work and long time to do!

Sanding and polishing clear coat.
Great chance to sand too much and mess up months of work in the final step!

No specific step in the process, but I hate repetitive work. Like sanding the mold lines off 12 fuel injectors, or creating 12 mesh covers that should all look the same... Then I realize why a V12 is a more expensive to produce and maintain than a simple inline-4

Paying the credit card bill after you bought a 1/12 MFH?

Like some others have said:
-Clear coating over a white paint job with decals. No forgiving any colored dust that lands in that clear.
-Sanding away the seams in Tamiya 1/12 F1 tires. Too soft for the drill technique, and to be careful with.
-Losing PE to the carpet monster.
-People that try to keep me from working on the kits.
Cheers,
Rob

Cutting out Vac-Form clear for windscreens and lights etc. It's always the bit I dread when making a multi-media kit

Good Answer!tubegenius wrote: Comparing my finished product to the rest of your fantastic builds.
I can honestly say that I don't hate any part of model building, I do hate when things go wrong though
But what I really hate is not having enough hours in the day to get some modeling time, although if i didn't come on the computer to check out F1M i'd have more bench time
Dede.
