Le Sommet des Légendes 2014

Post by Jeep »

Hi All!

Here are some of the pictures I was able to take at last weekend's Le Sommet des Légendes at the Mont-Tremblant track.

Enjoy!

Now where have I seen this color scheme before?

Image

One of the stars of this event, a Ferrari 312PB!

Image

One of the most famous rear ends in all of motorsport...

Image

...and one of the most famous fronts, complete with a very young fan wearing the proper shirt and cap!

Image

The "Idiot" car (look up Alistair Caldwell's comment at the finish of the Austrian GP in 1975!).

Image

No matter where I go this year, there she is...

Image

The "PB" must stand for "Pretty Badass"!

Image

Image

Image

Image

The F1's then took to the track.

These should keep the Porsche fans happy for a bit...

Any takers? I didn't have my checkbook with me...

Yes, the 250 GTO was driven and driven hard on the track!

Image

This guy would drift right through the slight, uphill right hander after the pits!

Image

The sports cars made their presence felt.

Image

More drifting...

Image

Striking Aston-Martin, but I'd hate to be the one to buff it!!!!!

Image

Oddly enough, this guy had full M@r!b*r* markings during the morning session. He must have had a visit from the Powers-That-Be about the Canadian laws that frown on such sponsorship...

Image

A final bow...

Ta-da!
